Gravatar Dear Charles,

I do believe I prove, without a shadow of a doubt, I am not a sir!

Just thought I'd throw a little humor in there, eh? Let me ask you a question, okay? Would you have preferred that the USA stayed out of WWI and WWII?

If not, I do not understand your point. WE DID NOT DECIDE TO START THIS WAR, but we did decide to take the fight to the enemy. We shall finish this war. I know many people are afraid. What I fear more is the fact that these people are more willing to trust, to believe, to be slaves to a narsacistic, murderous, evil enemy. It boggles the mind.

That's okay, I guess. As long as there are free men and women who will fight for those too stupid to see evil when it's staring you in the face, we shall survive. Just don't get in the way, because we don't need to save your butt, too.

Gravatar Hello Sir
With respect, thank you for your service on behalf of the alliance.

I have to say that your passion is moving. Yes I agree that there is certainly evil and good in the world. I agree with your honourable work and the work of your brothers at war.

However:
I do not believe that 9/11 was an appropriate launching point for the eternal war on terrorism. Ordinary people are frightened about the endless war timeline of George Bush.
Also, and most important from an ethical point of view: there were no weapons of mass destruction discovered in Iraq. As well, G. Bush ignored the responsible voice of the world via The United Nations when he declared war. This event was one of the most irresponsble events in American history.

I will not bother to list stats. I do think, however, that the Iraquis asked to be left alone. They were saying so ten years ago. Why didn't we leave them alone to develop at their pace in their history? Because the U.S. wanted to impose its (questioinable) values upon them. Well, America and its allies stirred up an ant's nest. Big ant's nest. Ants aren't evil, by the way, they simply react to the push of a stick.

Financially speaking, the war has been a complete disaster. The good that is being done on behalf of the U.S. and Allies ideals are now measured against the real cost with real people at home. Your people in America are drowning in debt, lacking in jobs, are unprotected against medical issues, and are drowning in sorrow and frustration. Moreso, the gloom of the war is a cloud over all the world. Yes we will bear the cloud, but not for ignorant American idealogy that disguises hatred and bigotry.

Many of us believe that G. Bush is extremely evil. He does evil things. He promotes evil in his country and his people. He promotes disdain from many of us who look at tired fat America.

I'm sorry my friend. I do respect you entirely for your purpose and your drive. However, your cause is not just.

I trust that all of us will get out of this in some manner that respects human dignity.

God Bless You.
