Well that's just wrong! If they will transfer him, maybe he could find a different job? I would not risk my family for money. I'm not saying he is, don't get me wrong. It's just that I'm looking for a place to move to, and the Gulf states are out of the question. PERMANENTLY! Well, Austin, TX is nice. It's far enough away, too. I think. Maybe not. Looks like I'm stuck with NY. (Not really stuck. That's where I'm from. lol)

Got updated info with relevant links concerning Hurricane Gustav on my blog now. Now it's predicted that it will briefly become a Cat. 4 storm just before making landfall as a Cat. 3. Some of the computer models have it making landfall just to the southwest of New Orleans which will put the area on the worst quadrant of a hurricane (the northeastern portion). People are very worried that the levees won't hold. In the surrounding Parishes evacuations are already mandatory in most while those with voluntary evacuations will more than likely make them mandatory Saturday or Sunday. St. Bernard Parish, which was just about wiped off the map by Katrina is bracing for a possible repeat of 2005. If the storm surge on Lake Ponchatrain is bad, my brother will more than likely lose his home...AGAIN. If that happens, I would not be surprise if he moves somewhere further away from the lakeshore. He has to stay somewhere near New Orleans since that is where he works and they have already turned down a request to be transferred to a different location (Mobile, Alabama) before.
Oh my! Maybe one day I'll even learn how to write! So many misspelled words, dropped words, wrong words, ect. lol.
Carl, I will pray for your family members and friends to be safe from this hurricane Gustav. Of course you may speak to Ted if you wish. You are respectful, and that is all I ask. Gosh, how boring a world we would be living in if we all agreed on everything! 
I do not expect everyone to agree with me. Heck, I am sometimes wrong (not too often though, ). But how would I know I was wrong unless someone KINDLY pointed to my error so as to edify my readers? I know you know what I mean. They do not want to hurt me and by leaving something wrong up on my site, that would hurt other people and I would lose credible. So in essense, they are helping more people than they know!
Ted is not trying to edify anyone but himself. After you are being told that people are ignoring you and you continue, what else could it be? I do not want to get rid of him. He has as much to his OPINIONS as we do. I just don't want him to discuss this. If the two of you wish to discuss this RESPECTFULLY (TED), be my guess. Just don't expect me to pop in. 
We had lots of rain and plenty of flooding from Tropical Storm Fay. It looks like Gustav will go well west of us. I'm concerned though that it will affect my inlaws in Gulfport & Biloxi, Mississippi as well as my brother in Slidell, Louisiana.
Ted, the materials you cited are not nor cannot be considered evidence but mere unsubstantiated accusations, rumors, innuendo and hearsay. You have a filed complaint. A filed complaint does not constitute evidence in any way, fashion or form. Therefore, my earlier assertation that you are imitating Murtha by making unfounded accusation stands.
Rosemary, I hope my respond to Ted is acceptable and within your rules. If not, feel free to delete it. I respectfully disagree with Ted but I refuse to behave in the childish manner Ted exhibited in his initial post.
Ted. FYI. I support Bill Russell. I do not want to ban you from my site, because I really think that is so uncool. However, you will not change my mind, nor I yours. Let us agree to disagree and move on. Otherwise, you leave me choice. I really, really, really do not want to do ban you, so please stop your efforts to change my mind. Please.

There He Goes Again. Little Billie Russell Has More Integrity Problems.
Johnstown, PA - Already having complaints filed against his campaign with the Federal Elections Commission, MoveonRussell.org has learned, Russell now stands accused of running his campaign out of the Pentagon while on Active Duty.
WOW! Can it be true that the Pentagon is beginning to look at Little Billie Russell's conduct while he served on active duty??? The dangers of active duty military, especially military officers, getting involved in politics is dangerous to our Constitution and well recognized by our military. Admiral Mullen, JCS Chairman said, "If you are in the military, stay out of politics." Now we are hearing from well placed contributors that the Pentagon is seriously reviewing rumors that Russell ran his political campaign from the Pentagon. Clearly, Little Billie Russell played fast and loose with military regulations, traditions and laws. But could he be reckless enough to violate laws? Apparently yes.
What does it appear that Russell did? Well, for beginners, he is is accused of rolling his cell phone over to a Pentagon phone, and using Pentagon faxes and office space to directly manage his campaign. Then there are the obvious violations of appearing on an extremist radio talk show (Michael Savage) while on active duty and identified as an Army officer. He still claims to be serving on active duty on his website signing as Lt. Col. William Russell rather than identifying himself as retired. And his fundraiser mailings are signed by Lt. Col. William T. Russell (USAR)
A military officer is expected to maintain the highest standards especially when it affects the Constitution of the United States and actual lives. We hope that Russell was not performing any significant responsibilities and that no one died when Russell was on the phone at the Pentagon talking about his campaign. Little Billie Russell clearly does not possess either the integrity or the judgment required to hold political office to represent the 12th District. Next time you see him or the media, ask if Little Billie Russell used the Pentagon as his campaign headquarters in any way.
