My parents had some Australian friends over this summer who went absolutely nuts over the idea of bagged milk. Eyes wide open and everything. It was funny watching them trying not to spill it everywhere when they poured it.

The only reason to drink milk is to make a baby cow gain 600 pounds in six months. That and because it is sooo good on cereal. Grape Kool-Aid just doesn't taste right on cereal you know.
Bag o milk. I have never heard of that. How many times does it go all woobley and crash all over the floor then everyone cries?

Does any other province besides Ontario have bagged milk anymore? That's the only place I have seen it. They got rid of it in Manitoba probably at least 15 years ago, and I haven't seen it anywhere in B.C. I think Ontario is just crazy. They like the messiness of the bags.

if i still drank a lot of milk, bagged would be the way to go - you can buy it in big 4L increments and drinking straight from the bag is like nothing else.
okay, well maybe it's like nursing. but aside from that, nothing else.

Also, Minnesota doesn't have bagmilk.
I think you should have elaborated more on the physics of the bag of milk, how much faster it freezes, why 4L/3 is better from Beatrice's standpoint - that's a mystery. You need to cut it open with scissors for if you cut it with a knife then it is uneven and will cause the milk to fall on you when drinking from the bag. That is something I think that people should know.
Do you think it is okay to throw the small endpieces of the plastic that you cut off back into the knifespoonfork cupboard and only take them out all at once when they amass? I find it wasteful to make a trip to the garbagecan for such a small piece of plastic.
Maybe you should find out how they get the milk in the bags and relate your learning experience to us.

Bagged milk is, in fact, a strange thing that only Ontario does. The entire first year I lived here, I just thought it was a strange coincidence that all my friend's parents bought milk in bags. It wasn't until my roomates brough home a jersey-cow spotted milk container that I realized Ontario is confused and thinks it's an old woman.
When I tell Albertans that Ontarions drink milk from bags, they think it's just some elaborate lie that I say to make Ontario residents seem more screwed up than they already are.
Sorry, milk bags really bother and confuse me.

Hah alas the last bit is true. Unfortunately I will never drink from a bag of milk, since the squishiness would remind me of drinking from someone's boob. Perhaps your fear of the jug has some kind of equally disturbing associated image.

we actually say ZED instead of ZEE, not ZERO. But anyways, PEI, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick all have bagged milk. Also in PEI, we have this strange liquid called triple milk. It's pretty thick and you mix it 1 part thick milky liquid to 2 parts water. Do any other provinces have that???

ok the people have spoken now go tell the alberta chick that she was WRONG about bagged milk kinda ironic since she's preaching "tongue-in-cheek" about ontario's inflated sense of self-importance or whatever despite my demanding she make a top ten list in the first place.
