I'm glad you found a way to keep the ranch, I know by your words Uncle Jack and the ranch meant alot to you.
Now, on to you my dear dear blog daddy, this is news I never wanted to hear. I hate when someone I love hurts, I feel the need to do something but at the same time, I'm helpless to do anything...If I can lend an ear or do anything for you I will, just call. If you were here right now, I would be on my way over to cheer you up...or lend a shoulder for a few tears.

The reason your solution for the ranch presented itself the way it did is a direct reflection of your generosity as a person. You're reaping what you sow.
As for your break-up, I am truly, truly sorry. I can't comment any more trhan that, other than to say that I hope that you (and he) are ok. You're in my thoughts.
Ray, I don't know you--and hearing from a total stranger might not always be welcomed, but I just wanted to say that you are a beautiful writer and obviously a wonderfully devoted friend with a heart of gold. There might be a few bruised spots here and there from hurt and loss but that's what makes you the person you are; it's what makes you appreciate all that you have. I wish you wrote here more often but I understand that your life is busy and there are more important things that you need to tend to.

Now that I've discovered this blog, and mined it for all it's worth (which is quite a bit), you've gone quiet. Not that I blame you. A break up like yours is enough to make anyone go quiet. There's going to be some time spent on healing. I hope it's not too long, and that you're back blogging soon. Could you just sort of put a hiccup up? So we know you're ok?

notice...it said "This account has been disabled or discontinued". This is how you're ending this? Discontinue your email account and disappear. Not even a...It was nice, you were a great friend when I was lonely and hurting, but now I have a new life and don't need you anymore

Sorry for this rant Ray. I've lost too many people my life, to let you go with out a fight, guess I lost. Yes, sometimes you need to hit me over the head a couple a dozen times before I finally realize what's going on, I get it now. I never meant for you have to discontinue your email to get rid of me. Why didn't you just tell me? You want me gone...I'm gone.

I think we can guess that Ray isn't going to be back. It would be nice to know if his life got so hectic he was unable to post to his blog. As much as I'm an optimist, based on what he's posted before, I'm afraid he may have done something more permanent.
Ray, I never met you in person. I got to know you from your blog. I'm going to miss you. With your absence, the world has lost some of its light.
Susan, dear, when mail accounts get full, the mail is bounced back as undeliverable, or 'full' or 'discontinued account'. It's nothing personal. The mail bots are to blame.
