Wow, what a time you had! But I have to differ on one thing. I'm glad her shots missed. Not that the scumbag didn't deserve it, but if she hit him the police might have charged her if they didn't like how it played out. And if he had survived, the bastard might have sued. Not that he should win the suit, but it could have made Carmen's life miserable.
Of course, in your place, I'd feel exactly the same way. I'm glad he didn't get away with the watch.
By the way, you may want to strengthen your security even more (alarm if the power is cut, radio transmitter for the alarm in case the phone line is out, etc.). It's not unknown for criminals to go back and try again at the same place. I don't want to worry you, and I hope you never are a crime victim again, but better to play it safe!
Oh what a delight to see you posting. You do lead an interesting life!!! Glad that the burglary didn't result in any injuries or the loss of your precious watch. Battery backup for the alarm system and a seperate signal if the power is cut is always a good way to go.
My what a six weeks you've had. I so sorry about the watch. That really is sad. I'm sorry Carmen's aim wasn't better than it was.
