Love the last picture! I waited and waited and waited for the peonies to open - I wanted JUST the right moment. Missed it.
Oh well. I can enjoy everyone else's.

Storms suck. And peonies are such delicate flowers in that they don't like rain or wind. But your's are pretty!
Poor peony bush! I've been all about the peonies lately, too. I've been complaining that neighbors who moved in a couple of years ago have gotten rid of all of the peonies that the old residents used to have. They now have weeds instead. I have been admiring the peonies on the net and in person. I have been flummoxed as to why only one of my peony bushes has buds this year and why they aren't even close to being open. I love the few flowers that you were able to salvage!
Oh man, that is sad! Peonies are my favorite. I managed to get a good pic last week from my dad's garden, but I don't have any of my own...

GORGEOUS peonies. I bought a bush for my Gram a few years ago and she thinks of me when they bloom each Spring.
