The sweater is beautiful. Thanks for the shelf photo. I'm sitting here coveting I had to laugh at myself because I can identify a great deal of those books even thought I can't read the titles on the spines. You know you've thought about knitting too much when you can do that. I think maybe I should start a knitting diary. It's a good idea.

The other day, just to torture myself, I googled for knitting stores in the Twin Cities. I was AMAZED. All those summers I spent just a stone's throw away and I could have been yarn shopping!

A snips container??? Never thought of that! Now I know what I can do with my tails and other stray yarn! I can now see my husband and friends rolling their eyes at me but I think it is an great idea!

I have enjoyed reading your postings on your blog. As you probably know, I believe that NPR and CPB seem to be pretty safe from getting the ax. Whew!
