Oooh! Thanks for posting about the movie! I kinda wanted to see it just because of Christian Bale but was afraid the story itself would be lousy. I'll add it to my list to go see. 
I completely agree with all your assessments of the movie! I loved it and thought it was the best one by far. My DH who has loved the Batman franchise, thought this one was AWESOME! He's hoping they'll continue with this trend and have an all new franchise!
