Your work is beautiful. And I'm so glad to see that there is a site called "Knitters Against Bush"!

The heart sweater looks fantastic! I have yet to try intarsia - it's on my "to learn" list, but I haven't seen many patterns I like (or that don't intimidate me!) The hearts are really lovely. Nice work!

Somewhere around here, I have an old Workbasket magazine that suggests starting on your handmade Christmas prezzies 'round about July or August, so I'd say you're right on time! And the heart sweater looks great. I haven't tried intarsia yet. I am chicken.

so I meant to have my pooling scarf that I made with Anne at the shop on Saturday nite, but I forgot
but i did it out of 1 skein of Anne, a made up lace pattern and a slightly different technique than that described in Interweave. It is gorgeous, if i do say so myself, and once i got going, really quite fun. good luck with yours!

At the risk of sounding stupid. What does AK stand for? And what is the pooling scarf?

Those cards are so cool! Who'd have thunk you could make those by yourself. I love Archivers, everytime I go in there I spend way too much money. Kind of like the yarn store...
