I'm knitting my first sock and starting to research future sock yarns. What is it you like about the Socks that Rock yarn? Obviously, the colorways are tremendous. What can you tell me about the texture, spring, and tactile aspects of the yarn? If you were knitting plain black socks, would you still use this yarn?

Your photos of STR yarn looks better than on their website.

May I look at the Vogue and the Knit Simple next Wed before I decide? I think I definitely want the Vogue but if I'm not in love with the KS I won't be a dog in the manger. Thanks!

I know - although I ran out of steam during the neutrals month, I will miss PS and how it had me looking at colors differently each month.

The STR colorways are *fab*!!! I will have to remember the Azurite, I don't have much sockyarn with gray.
Have a good weekend. : )

Lovely lovely STR! You are one lucky lady! Can't wait to see what you make. Your Jaywalkers and Conways really came out great.

I did the same thing with the STR -- one for a secret pal, one for me -- so, you're not alone. I don't know where you're finding those great colors though, because they aren't up on the Blue Moon Fiber Arts site any longer.
