I'm with you on the election, but I'm also sad about Michelle Bachmann. I almost wish I lived in that district so I could have voted against her. She gives me the heebie-jeebies. And it's very telling that while Wetterling's campaign headquarters was in St. Cloud, Bachmann's was in Bloomington. The woman's got ambition.

I cried during Amy Klobuchar's speech last night (just teared up a little) - I grew up reading her dad's newspaper column, I've gotta say, she does not disappoint.
Sounds like a good day on Tuesday. We've got our first African-American governor in MA, which is pretty amazing considering our twin history as a stop on the Underground Railroad and home of abolitionists (then) and as a very racist place to live (now). I'm excited!
No matter how many Renees I meet and how many times I see "Renee" on something it still gives me a little thrill to see my name in print...even on a nametag. Am I a nerd or what?
