Ooo, tough call. Not being a major sports fan, I immediately vote against the Metrodome, but find myself stuck between Como Lake and the Spoonbridge and Cherry. Probably MOA is best known at this point, but...perhaps the explorers should broaden their destination-knowledge horizons???

How unique! The Spoonbridge and Cherry is new to me and is aesthetically pleasing as well as being highly unusual. So, that's my vote. Each pic has a special appeal--tough call!

Great pictures! I haven't been to Como Lake in years! I'd pick that one or the Cherry/Spoonbridge... I'm a huge fan of Claes Oldenburg too.

I'll vote for the spoonbridge & cherry. All the pics are good, did you do all of them in 1 day??

Spoonbridge and Cherry!! Or the Mall is pretty good. Alas, the MTM picture is a bit washed out. You got some great shots - did you get any funny looks?

I would vote for the Spoonbridge. The photo is distinctive and accessable. The Stadium and MOA, while well-known, are just not eye-catching to me. And, well, Como lake is much prettier when it's not all grey and frozen, eh?
I like the MTM idea a lot but Henry is quite washed out in that photo and I'm afraid viewers wouldn't be able to recognize him. Also ... what are the odds of other Yarn Aboarders actually recognizing MTM? I guess what I'm asking is whether you know the overall age of the group. I'll draw a somewhat arbitrary line in the sand and suggest that people much under the age of 35 and not hailing from the Mpls area would not recognize the statue for who she is.

I have never heard of the spoon bridge & cherry. That is one of the freakin' coolest pieces of largescale artwork that I have ever seen! And some snow finally! I was starting to get worried for you. I'd send you some, but you know.... Maybe I can send it telepathically, the cold front & precip, that is. You will have snow you will have snow you will have snow you will have snow.... hahahahahaha!

I love Como Lake! I used to work a few blocks from there and would take my lunch breaks at the lake. It is the perfect distance to walk around and still manage to eat a quick bite.
