Gravatar That is a great red scarf. Why did I not think of that? Sock club yarn is a bit hit or miss. I really liked 2 out of 7 of the Socks that Rock club I joined. 2 more were OK, the rest were icky.

Gravatar Wow - I'm loving that cabled little number! You just reminded me I have to go work on my red scarf.

Glad to hear you are feeling better and back in the swing of things

Gravatar I do like that yarn, even if it's pastel. Try a swatch, you never know! The scarf looks great; I've been lusting after that book too... can't wait to get my own copy.

Gravatar Wow, that scarf is neat!
The yarn looks pretty too, but I think I would agree with you I like it bright like this, I don't think I would like it if it were much more pastel like.
Hey, maybe it'll knit up nice though and you'll end up with a really spiffy pair of socks! :D

Gravatar love the cabled scarf! it is simply stunning in red :o)

Gravatar The red scarf is beautiful!

Gravatar Oh, whew, you are sounding much better!!

I love that scarf - I'll have to check out that book.

Gravatar I love the scarf! Thanks for the book link. I have already added it to my Amazon list.

Gravatar I hope your Red Scarf recipient and mine don't know each other, because they're getting the same scarf! However, I'm making my narrower (only 3 cables across) and in cheaper yarn..... But it's a great pattern, isn't it?

Gravatar Great scarf Renee. Reversible cables are so clever. I got a kick out of the Vintage Velvet scarf for that very reason (and oh yeah, the Touch Me).

Let's hope for a better colorway next time from Posh Yarn. The current one might be cute for a baby girl's something- I shall just have to wait and see.

See you tomorrow?

Gravatar I just tried Spoonriver as well. I found it to me tasty as well.
