Wow- nice progress on the baby blanket!
When I worked at that LYS, winding superwash merino during the winter months was an absolute nightmare. Electric static issues! The yarn would actually 'hop' off the newly wound ball as you wound. [sometime massive yarn knots ensued with some staff members] Now when I'm at home winding the same yarn at the same time of year, I pause, touch the yarn in the ball to de-static-ize it, then continue winding for a few minutes. Repeat.
Yep. Another reason to look forward to warmer days!

Fleece Artist is lovely, isn't it? Pity no one around here carries it. That's a great blue for the baby blanket. You know I can't wait to see that mitered square blanket.

I take it that you are still not on speaking terms with the other baby sweater. The new creation is lovely.
Fleece Artist stuff is great. I was at my LYS this morning and Claire draped a hugggggge hank of it around my neck and walked away. It was heavenly.

I buy my Fleece Artist off of ebay, or at Loopy Ewe. The socks are awesome and your blanket is really beautiful.

Wow, great progress on that blanket Renee! And I haven't even ordered the yarn yet. With just 9 wks to go, the pressure is mounting! But I'm heartened to see that it seems like a quick knit.

Wow, those socks look great! The yarn looks much more "neutral" knitted up. I definitely have to get some Fleece Artist for myself!

Hey Renee - I paid $19 on ebay with this vendor: http://stores.ebay.com/Tidal-Brook-Yarns
I think with shipping it's probably comparable...

I love those Renee! I am amazed at how you were inspired to knit these by my BFF's, because I think mine are only fair. Yours are just gorgeous. Must be the yarn (and the knitter)!!

What lovely socks! I really like the color of yarn. The blue of the blanket looks cozy too. I still have my yarn sitting here waiting to become a PS project.
