Ye gads, that Spiderman movie sounds like a train wreck! I was walking behind a couple who had just seen it, and they were talking about how "unrealistic" it was. Um, and the premise of Spiderman IS realistic?! 
I found Spiderman a big letdown. Way too long, too disjointed as you note, and hello? What's with all the crying?? Brought back traumatic memories of Michael Landon on Little House on the Prairie. Pa did NOT cry that much in the books.
Poor, poor Spidey. Haven't seen the other two (the blessings of having a girly girl I guess. However, my own experience with adult piano lessons now have me fascinated with Four Minutes - not the whole rage part!
You always get to see some of the coolest sounding movies.
We're probably going to catch Spidey on DVD because of the many disappointing reviews. But the idea of Emo!Spidey wearing eyeliner, well, that's priceless.
