Hubby and I saw the Happening this week as well. UGH! So wasted the money on that one. The only thing that made it even worth it was Mark Walburg's cuteness... cuz I agree, acting... not so much.

I don't recall if you meet Ranger in the first book or not. If you haven't met him yet, he'll well worth the wait. My favorite part of book 1 is when Grandma shoots the chicken in the gumpy. I have never laughed so hard...

I've had this 'thang' for my boy Edward for a while, so I will go see him. Too bad about the happening- I usually like his movies because they are so diffrent.

I whipped through all 13 of the Plum novels in about 2 or 3 months - they are very addicting!

I didn't like Edward Norton until The Illusionist. That is too bad that The Happening wasn't good. I enjoyed The Village and Lady in the Water. You might like Lady if you like urban fairytales.
