We got a load of snow yesterday too. Then it turned to freezing rain and there's ice and slush and yuck everywhere today. I genuinely like winter but the idea of spring is beginning to appeal to me.

Your blanket is magnificent. I'd love to make one but the sewing up would kill me dead.

lovely! and you're brave -- the thing i dislike most about knitting socks is picking up stitches for the gusset. i can't even begin to fathom picking up sts for that blanket border!

Very beautiful. WT used the snowblower last night and pretty late (about 8:00 p.m.) I can't even tell this morning. Looks piled up to me.

Have you started your border yet? How about the i-cord border I used on my afghan. It looks nice and I think it is easy because you don't have to pick up the stitches until you do them.

This snow is something else. It was too deep for my kids to go out and play today (at least the littler one), but they had fun in it yesterday as it was still falling.

I love how your blanket turned out! I hope you've got some good movies lined up to help you through the tedium of the border.
