Gravatar And I agree with Peter. For McCain not to protect his own V.P. is inexcusable. I thought he was a gentleman, and now I have my doubts. However, I never did think Palin was a good choice because she was inexperienced. Give her some time though and she may just out-smart everyone.

Gravatar I agree Roseindigo. I have been waiting for someone to post about the smear campaign that is happening to Gov. Palin (by these idiot aisle crossing "conservatives") and I am happy to see Peter wrote about this topic. I am also happy to see Gov. Palin isn't taking it on the chin anymore, like she did during the campaign, and is speaking out about these cowardly slime balls who are attacking her anonymously. She's a tough woman with an even more successful political future ahead of her. She definitely knows what it means to represent the people...not self interest.

I don't have much to say about McCain. Unlike you I think the only thing he did right was pick Gov. Palin.

Good luck with the new blog Peter... .

Gravatar PALIN/JOE THE PLUMBER 2012!!!

Gravatar Why did Peter shut down his old blogs?

Gravatar Ask him.

Gravatar I just did.

Gravatar Badger Blogger has written that Peter also "said something that shouldn’t have been said" at Drinking Right, hours before he posted his threat at B&S. Anyone know what that was?

Gravatar Why do you care? Again, ask him directly. And no raising some question on another blog is not asking him directly.

I had a point to make I contacted him directly.

Gravatar HMMM, leave it to foust to amuse me again with this one: "Peter also "said something that shouldn’t have been said" ---Just who said Peter shouldn't have said something? You? And would you call that restricting free speech or not?

Ya know I had a boss once who said something very wise. He ran hospitals in various parts of the world and was in China for a time and in Saudi Arabia. I asked him which he liked better, and he said he preferred China. I asked him about the people, and he said he preferred the Arabs because they were hateful and blunt, but you always knew exactly where you stood with them. They didn't smile at you and then stick a knife in your back. They stuck it in looking you straight in the eye.

With the Chinese they were always polite and politically correct and smiled a lot even when they were calling you an asshole, and you never knew where you stood.

I for one prefer honesty and FREE SPEECH, even if I think it's asenine. At least I know where I stand in relation to the person who was being that blunt. And after what he said about the Arabs, I sort of even admire them for what they are saying now, even if I dislike them for it. But they've said they want to destroy the West, and for some reason I believe them, since my boss who was there a long time did confirm that at the very least they said what they meant.

Think about it. If someone is blunt or even hateful, at least you know where they stand. It makes life so simplle. So recognize a good thing when you see it.
