At least we know where $18 Mil of the "porkulus payoff" $'s are going!
After they complete the project, will they be able to accurately report how the rest is being spent? How long will it take to get the site activated and how much of the money already sent out to the states etc. will be traceable? Will there be the same level of accountability as we have seen from The Emperor's own actions? If so, that means the $18 Mil is going down a black hole with no reliable results. But, we will have kept a few internet software programmers in business for a while.
I'm very skeptical but willing to see what happens for now, after all its "only" $18 Mil out of several hundred Billion. (That’s just "Pocket money" to the Emperor and his wife who spends $900 on a purse and $600 on sneakers). By the way which account did the $'s for the new purse and sneakers come out of? Does the Emperor and family get a "Clothing allowance" from us because he's the Emperor? Or was that $’s spent from his salary? I don't know that answer but would be curious to know how that works. After all there was a huge to-do about the Republican Party spending on clothes for Sarah Palin during the campaign etc... I don't care if Mrs. Emperor spends the family paycheck in that way, but it would be nice to see the same scrutiny applied to her as was applied to Sarah during the campaign. And a little leading by example on how to conserve on $’s earned in a tight and declining economy. (and, oh yes I know she got a great “deal” on the purse, which was reported to have an original price tag of $6,000!!!. Which in itself, boggles the mind! How would anyone with the smallest amount of common sense consider paying $6,000 for a small handbag, regardless of who designed it!!)
