I think you guys really need to chill out and not see "America Hatred" everywhere you look.
If you watch the video, I think its actually pretty clear that Collinsworth is "teeing one up" for Kobe. You know... like being a straight man, and letting Kobe hit one out of the park.

I saw the interview on Friday when it aired.
It did appear that Collinsworth was "teeing it up" for Bryant. What was he supposed to say? "It's NOT cool to say I love America"? "I don't love America"?
Still, I didn't think it was an inappropriate or offensive question for Collinsworth to ask.
I think Collinsworth wanted to make the point that it is cool to be proud of our country. I think he was being critical of the snob "citizens of the world" Americans who are not.
