Gravatar That is such a well done letter - definitely worth a read! Thanks.

Gravatar Dear Mr. Miller,

Thank you. Now give me the money so I can give it to illegal aliens because that cannot start their own companies.

Your money is mine,
Barack Hussein Obama

Gravatar This man is one of the people who made America the great country it was for several hundred years. Alas, he is going the way of the dinosaur. When people have the good life becasue of the hard work of people like him, they feel they are entitled to have the good life without the work and sacrifice "just because they can" because that's what our politicians have bred ---- so sort of dependence that makes for a great herd of sheep so they can do whatever the hell they want.

We are there now. That's why Obama is getting so much support. Sheep looking for their shepherd, who will ultimately feed them to the wolves.

God bless America. I hope we get through this awful cycle. Like I said, I hope to live long enough to see the backlash.

Gravatar Right on, Cory.

My house has a second mortgage, and with my 1st mortgage combined, I am in debt more that my house is worth now (and I put 20% down). I have a business loan of over $200,000 that my mother (thanks mom!) put her house up as colateral to keep my business interest rates at a level I can afford. BUT if and (hopefully) when the business I and my husband purchased starts to make a profit, I DO NOT want the benefits of my hard work, stress and worries, not paid back TO ME, but given to "spread the wealth."

Why take all these risks if the benefits of these risks will just be forcefully taken away as a way to "spread the wealth" to those who have not worked hard and taken the risks?

Gravatar gop gal, that seems to be the future for all of those who built this country and made it what it is, sort of a la Europe with all their high taxes and benefits that the government decides for them from cradel to grave. That's why my parents LEFT EUROPE, because they didn't want cradle to grave hand-outs by wealth thrpread around as determined by other than themselves, only to have their grandchildren now end up in the same boat in America. What a tragedy!

Of course, when any of us challenge the current dependent view, we are called whiners and uncharitable. But frankly, the most uncharitable people I've ever met are the very ones who demand hand-outs from the government, and even statistically it's the liberals who share much less of their wealth than conservatives.

Liberals are a bad joke!

I also have relatives from Europe who have come to visit here, and without exception EVERY ONE OF THEM has voiced the opinion that they would like to stay here if they were younger, and make it by their hard work and without all the red tape they have to deal with in Europe, and be able to keep their money. But they go home because they've had to pay the high taxes all their lives and are now, in retirement, determined to get some of that money back. Can't say that I blame them.

But that's not the sort of future I want to see in America---a bunch of leeches without ambition except to suck the country dry. Europe is dealing with all that right now, and it will get worse before it gets better, because they have so many leeches.

Gravatar It's truly sad that populist/socialist politicians want to use class warfare to gain power and in the process undermine the principles and ideals that made this country the beacon that it has been over the past couple centuries. All you have to do is compare Peggy Joseph to Cory the Driller to see what he means in his letter. The reigning sense of entitlement out there is staggering.
