Sen. Craig should resign simply for being an idiot. He didn't do anything wrong in Minneapolis. Yet, he didn't ask for a lawyer. Even the lowliest scumbag pick-pocket knows to ask for a lawyer. He pleads out to a lesser charge. If you didn't do anything wrong, don't plead. You're an idiot if you think this wouldn't come out. Senators are immune to arrest if on the way to, or returning from a vote. He was. He apparently didn't know this, even after all his time in office. Again, he should resign because he's a fool.

the immunity members of Congress enjoy is for statements made on the floor of their respective houses of Congress. It doesn't include immunity from being arrested for lewd behavior in an airport bathroom.
