Gravatar Well, I'm not sure that distancing himself from MoveOn is a bad thing. I think as a candidate becomes stronger and receives more information about what goes on behind the scenes in Washington and the international stage, he/she almost has to change his mind about some of his platforms. New information requires adjustment to new reality. On the other hand, MoveOn has a different agenda, mainly supporting the fringe. And if Obama is serious about bringing people together, he will have to compromise while the nuts at MoveOn aren't about to compromise.

Nevertheless, no matter what he does, at this point I don't trust him or his agenda, or his aims for this country. But I can't really blame him for playing the political game as it is required to be played.

In fact, I'm of the opinion that anyone with good moral principles would never survive in the current political environment where almost everything is watered down by compromise, including the good things.

Gravatar did this happen in racine?

i thought fred only noticed things in his block party area?
