Burts Bees Lime gloss is tasty but kind of a pain to apply so I leave it at home. Wet Your Whistle from Bath & Body Works has like no taste but gives me soft soft lips. And I like the Mary Kay Satin Lips duo. There is an exfoliating mask for your lips, which admittedly, is weird to apply. But after I wipe it off and apply the Satin lips gloss, I have a SUPER soft pucker. The gloss is terrific and I use it every night before bed.

PS- The lipmedic site is AMAZING. I am so addicted to chapstick, I was so sad when B&BWorks stopped doing their seasonal flavors of chapstick in happy little tubes. I think this place can finally fill that little hole in my heart. = )

i adore the rosebud salve, it gives my lips a sexy sheen and it smells so amazingly good.
also in my purse you will find the cool reflections lip balm from walgreens (the non-medicated one). it smells like vanilla and leaves my lips super smooth.
whenever my lips feel dry and chapped i exfoliate with Neutrogena's Berry Smooth Balm. it has jojoba beads to exfoliate and improve lip texture, plus cranberry extract and sesame oil to condition and moisturize.
by my nightstand i keep a container of vaseline. it is simply the best for intense moisturizing at night but the boyfriend hates it cause it's gooey and it doesn't taste very good so when he sleeps over i try to avoid it.
i haven't crossed over to tinted balms yet. i tried the burt's bees line but i really didn't like the texture. any other suggestions?

On a somewhat unrelated note - I just bought a bunch of lip balms and glosses at www.eyeslipsface.com for a whopping $1 apiece (the brand is e.l.f. cosmetics). All the tools and products sell for a buck, including the makeup brushes. Fun!

I agree with persiana on the Rosebud Salve...I like both the original and the strawberry. They're definitely my HG for winter lips and spring wind. I know it's a bit juvenile, but I'm still loyal to fruity lip smackers--cheap and sweet, they always manage to do the trick, and they give you that slightly moist kiss me look. I have on in every handbag--kiwi, mango, fruit punch and watermelon. My fave tinted balms are Eyeko fat balm (strawberry) and the LORAC gloss stick in...plus, I think. The darkest one. The fat balm is an innocent, popsicle-like stain and the LORAC is like alipstick/lip balm hybrid, glossy, but non-drying and translucent.

Ooh! Love lipstick/lip balm hybrids! And lip exfoliation products! And Shu--once you've tried the e.l.f. products, I'd love to hear what you think. They've been on my radar...but could they be too good to be true?
