Use a little bit white eye shadow above the bow of your upper lip and around the center below your bottom look. This is suppose to give you "pouty" lips. Combined with your first tip, you get great looking lips.

Another one that I read in a magazine was to use a little bit of lotion on the ends of your hair for fly-aways and sleeker looking ends.

Gravatar A teeny tiny bit of hair wax on eyebrows is great because it keeps eyebrows all nice and tidy for ages.
Oh, and thanks for the Beauty.com thing, Real Girl! Am definitely trying that!

Gravatar Another site to mention is hqhair.com, which is mainly useful to UK readers but ships all over Europe and the rest of the world (though that starts at £6.00 postage, so it's quite expensive for non-Europeans). It carries lots of brands, from the new, through the cult, to the pretty much obscure. While many of the products are expensive, most of them are so brilliant that even buying one, you will probablym make a discovery. That said, some things they sell are very faddy - jade facial rollers, anyone?

Also, about my hair - when I was in Boots (UK drugstore/chemist/purveyor of beauty from the cheap crap to Chanel) looking to buy some Fructis shampoo, I couldn't find where it was (what's that all about?! It's FRUCTIS! I'm probably just an idiot and it was right in front of me, because it was in the other Boots, but by that time i'd already bought different stuff) so I thought i'd try Sheer Blonde volumising shampoo and conditioner. Now, i'd tried the highlight-enhancing versions of this range before and was not impressed, but now they have volumising versions and new formulas. I also got some sachets of the Deep Conditioner because my hair is quite dry at the ends and I kew this product is brilliant. And dahlings, the difference to my hair! I am loving the shampoo and conditioner, my faith in Sheer Blonde is restored!

I don't really have many other tips because I have also gained most of mine from magazines, so you probably know them. I usually find the thing that makes the most difference in terms of beauty is eating well; things like eating good fats (I use grapeseed oil in dressings and for cooking - full of antioxidants!). Then there's drinking tons of water (obligatory) and sleep (slightly more difficult to manage!).

Gravatar Most obvious tip ever?? Wash your face every night before you go to bed!! Lol, it's a total drag, but I know on the long nights where I skip it I wake up the next day with a breakout just waiting to crop up.

Also--Crest Whitestrips? Really work! Slap them on for a few days and you'll be all pearly white--then you can use one before a night out or anytime to refresh the whiteness. They rock.

Gravatar Flax seed oil.

I use a tablespoon everyday, salad dressing, stir it into your whole grains, drip it over some veggies.

Because of the flax seed oil, I never need lotion, even my elbows are soft - and they used to be so cracked and dry I could cut you with them.

I swear, my mother does it too. Just eat a tablespoon or two a day and your skin will glow for you.

Gravatar Ooh! Crest Whitestrips are the very next item on my list to test out! Results coming in the next couple weeks...

Thanks for the excellent tips! Keep 'em coming, real girls! xx

Gravatar Exfoliate lips with a toothbrush--just wet it a bit and brush in small circles to get smooth, soft lips. I read this in a magazine article about how to wear red lipstick more beautifully.
