Gravatar Dear Lord... it sounds like a miracle worker... I may have to stop by and give it a try tomorrow!

Gravatar Forgot to say, gals--MAKE SURE you get your correct size. You might want to even try a size smaller just to see what it's like. It'll be worth it in the end. xx

Gravatar Hi, Real Girl! I found you through Dilly-dilly's blog, and I like your style. I am a 44 DD myself, and magazines are generally showing "minimizer" styles if they deign to show that my bra size EXISTS. Lane Bryant, however, the mecca of the fat-but-stylish, has read my mind and has push up, cleavage enhancing bras with air filled cutlets (removable) for those of us who like our double chins to nestle in our oh-so-copious cleavage.

Gravatar oh, and when was the Great Whitening Experiment in 2005? I mean, what month, so I can go back & read it & hopefully get some tips as I must DO SOMETHING about my dull, beige choppers before they are recorded for posterity in EXPENSIVE WEDDING PHOTOS.

Gravatar Hi Elena! The 2 whitening posts can be found in October and November, 2005.

44DD! Impressive, indeed.

Gravatar I can't believe it! I surfed over from Blog Explosion and find you talking boobies and hinting we might get a look at yours and then... nothing, darn the bad luck! hehe, nice blog!

Gravatar I want to see boobies, dangit!

I was completely sold on this bra until you mentioned the drawback of wearing it strapless. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good strapless bra? Mainly, one that will stay put! And not show the "cup mark" at the top of my boob when wearing a tighter fitting top?

Gravatar I'm way too skeered to go into Victoria's Secret (I'm convinced that I know her secret -- she doesn't like fat girls).

But I have been on a quest for the perfect bra for my entire life. I even blogged about it here: http://justlinda.blogspot.com/20...mans- quest.html

So, tell me more of this gel wonder... is it COMFORTABLE (or is that simply too much to ask of a bra)???

Gravatar RG love your site. My daughter has the same bra, and loves it! Before my reduction, I hated buying my industrial bras with a passion. I don't want to hi-jack your post, but wanted you to know about Body by Nancy Ganz, for those of us that like to be firmly put in place. I went from a DD+ to a perky C. While plastic surgery is not for most, it was for me. You're about the same size as my daughter and she doesn't go anywhere nice without her gels.

Gravatar I bought this bra in September 2004 (not to say "ha-ha, I found it first") as I needed something either strapless or with clear straps to wear under my bridesmaid's dress for my friend's wedding. That bra? A lifesaver. I've worn it so much that its going the ways of many of my VS bras - loved beyond repair.

And you know that pic on my site that you commented on, RG? Yeah, totally was rocking that bra in it. But without the cutlets, because my girls don't really need the extra gel... its scary with them in.

Gravatar That bra looks amazing, I'm going to have to try it out.

Gravatar thank you real girl -- you're fabulous! have also heard rave reviews from a friend about this one. and FYI they're on sale right now w/ VS Semi-Annual...

Gravatar Real Girl,

I have been a little behind on your posts 'cause I've been out of town and have a question for you...

I am a curly haired gal, but unlike most curly haired gals, I have very fine hair that tends to be a little schizophrenic... wavy and frizzy today, nice ringlets tomorrow, straight underneath, curly up top. I nearly always air dry and am looking, ideally, for two products--one to soften the curls and make it loose and wavy, and one to make the curlies all tighten up like they do when they're being good.

Any product recommends?

PS. Will definitely take Chesty LaRue's advice for girls of small hilltops.

Gravatar VS has been ever so kind to my curves... though surprised that you have a hard time fitting into their bras, my more chesty friends always tell me VS is kinder to us smaller-breasted girls... i'm very into the comfort of the body line myself. but i do need a good strapless bra, one that doesn't make the girls into funny-looking lumps...

Gravatar Hi J!

Well, the best product for you *would have* been Kiehl's Hair Thickening Lotion, but they went and discontinued my FAVORITE hair product.

I am still looking for the perfect replacement, but I recommend Kiehl's just because they're so handy with samples so you can experiment.

For the softness, you're going to want a leave-in conditioner. As to the keeping it all curly and ringletty, that's going to take some handiwork.

What I do is make sure to scrunch while my hair is drying, paying attention to the underside. Then, whatever's not curling right I dampen very slightly and curl up myself, securing it with a bobby pin. I let dry for about 10-15 minutes and then release.

Someday I'll find the perfect curly hair remedy to replace my beloved lost Hair Thickening Lotion. Someday...

Gravatar Does anyone have the *perfect* bra for girls with not-so-small girls? I'm a 36D; Victoria's second secret is though her big-breasted models look lovely in a push up, real-girl-real-big breasts do not.

Any suggestions from busty bosom buddies - for a bra with good support that doesn't push my chest up to my ears?

Thanks!

Gravatar Longtime lurker coming out of the woodwork to sing the praises of the best bra i have ever had ( my bodacious ta tas love it) Its called the Dream Tisha annd its mad by Le Mystere. I bought it at bare necessities but i know bloomies carries it too. Good Luck

Gravatar I have found that any bra with a molded cup is not for me. I don't know what exactly it is about the shape of my boobs and body, but they do NOT fit, no matter how many sizes I try on or how much I adjust the straps. I always have a difficult time w/ bras--I have a broad chest, so the cups on the 34 are generally situated too far in the middle--I'm like, but my boobs are over here! The only brands I've found that fit me consistently are Calvin Klein and Wacoal soft cup bras in most of their styles. Victorias Secret is like my nemesis--mary a bra in that store fits me.

Gravatar Oh, Ali-I saw your query for a good strapless bra. I have this one, this one and this one and I reccommend them all for keeping that gape at the top at bay and for not squishing the boobs into weird shapes. The first Wacoal bra has no padding and the other two, minimal padding, so it allows you to keep a more natural shape. Not reccommend for anyone who needs serious uplift, though. I'm a 34 B/C and they work really well for me.

Gravatar I'm overjoyed for you that you found something that looks great! I'm also very jealous which just goes to show you that one person's curse is another's life dream.

40D here who KNOWS Victoria hates me; no Secret about it. I think we need to ask God for detachables. Trade up! Trade down! Amaze your friends! Seamlessly interchangable! Get the entire set for one low price! Order yours today! Void in Michigan.

Gravatar Do we all, then, envy the C-cuppers?

Thanks to the voluptuous for sharing stuff my wee ones will never allow me to test! Ah the grass is always greener...

And Ahe, hmmm. I would say that I don't usually fit well in other VS bras either, but this bra definitely takes what you've got and pushes it in toward the middle. The gel helps with that better than I've found with any other bra. Still, if you know you can't wear molded cups, then the the convertible might not work. Sad!

xx

Gravatar victoria's secret rules for best cleavage enhancing bras. i also love them for another reason-- they found my correct bra size...i am a 34D and all along i though i was a 36C... needless to say, everything fits SO MUCH BETTER! get sized ladies, it;s so worth it!

Gravatar Hi RG, I just have a question. You once mentioned that you like to put frozen chamomile tea bags over your eyes...do you wet them and freeze them or how do you do it? I tried just sticking them in the freezer dry but they aren't that cold...just wondering.

Gravatar Anybody have a recommendation for a really good minimizer? I'm a 34 DDD, and so far have only found one bra that does an even semi-decent job. I need support! Plus, apparently anyone with boobs this big has bad taste, because my choices are pretty much between beige satin grandma bras or cheap looking, itchy lace ones.

Gravatar Hi Erin,

Yes, you wet the bags first and then put them in the freezer for, say 15 minutes. It's a process that has to be repeated every time you use them because, indeed, when the bags are dry the freezing doesn't work. And unfortunately after being in the freezer long enough they feel too dry. If fifteen minutes doesn't feel cold enough, you can get away with 20 depending on your freezer.

Enjoy!

Gravatar As a sad Canadian girl (from Montreal) with NO access to Sephora or Victoria's Secret, I was very excited to be in the U.S. this past weekend and headed directly to the nearest mall with both stores. I tried the bra but alas, it didn't work at all for my 32 As . It sort of stood away from my chest in a not-so- flattering way. I was VERY disappointed.

On a more positive note, I bought the Smashbox foundation primer which is simply fabulous. Every woman should have this in her make-up kit.

Still, I'd love a bra suggestion for those of us who are not so well endowed. And I don't really want major push-up action either, because where am I going with my little boobs up to my chin?

Gravatar Oh yay -- will give this a shot. I have been avoiding VS for years for the same reason as you, Real Girl... this is exciting. Thanks!
