Hey, I'll try that, I love good powder. I almost bought Lorac's 'Undercover Lover' concealer because it looked like it had the right stuff in it (vitamins, etc. for my TRULY aging, dry under-eye area). I didn't get it though, have you tried it? I'll have to try the powder, right now I use Mineral Veil from BareMinerals.. I also just got a compact of pressed powder by Lola, from Sephora, it has skin lighteners in it so your makeup doesn't look too dark. I like it but it was costly ($35) and I do prefer loose powder.
Have you every tried Amazing Cosmetics Concealer? I've been reading about it and want to get it but I'm not sure it's worth the $40. It's supposed to be great though. They don't have it at the stores here, so I can''t try before I order. Thanks for the info, I'm a beauty addict too! It's my only creative outlet these days and I like looking pretty (I have 2 young kids...) Lisa

Ooh, that looks nice! I have really oily skin too, so I love powder. I mostly use that alone, without foundation.
But I think that maybe for 28 bucks I'll stick with what I've got (I'm using Bareminerals.) Kinda expensive. (Oh, and bareminerals is v. expensive too, but someone gave it to me. haha, lol.)

My favourite is Estee Lauder's loose powder. it has very very fine shiny bits to give u that goddess glow. Matts the skin really well and it looks so-oh natural
I'll have to give this one a try. I have oily skin too and I love loose powders for the same reasons. I've been using Bare Escentuals which I like, but it doesn't really achieve a completely matte effect. I'm waiting on a sample order of Everyday Minerals - hopefully, it'll be more matte.
ok everyone! i will tell you that the best powder in the world is Setting FX by Cover FX. It is talc free and contains Mica to give this light reflecting quality that is amazing! It doesn't clog pores and is worth every bit of it's $32.00
Burts Bees Translucent powder is the best!!! I use this first, then put concealer over the top. It totally eliminates the shine! Sometime in the afternoon i'll use a rice paper sheet, but this does a really good job of lasting throughout the day!
