Lord, I'm lucky to slap moisturizer on my face every morning, let alone develop a vitamin serum preference. But I had to write and let you know how glad I am to see you back. We've missed you!

Welcome back, RG! I don't use a Vitamin-C serum, either, as I have sensitive skin (rosacea). Instead, I use my lovely Murad Calming Serum with goji berry... and a LOVE LOVE! (I love Sephora even more for the sample, which has proved its worth to me that I'm going to buy a full-size this weekend.)

First, yay! You're back!
Second, the Body Shop owns me, and they have a whole line of vitamin C products. I use the skin brightening serum under my Vitamin E line spf moisturizer, the the vitamin C capsules at night, plus the vitamin C face polish about every other day. And occasionally the vitamin C eye cream. I tried the vitamin C spf moisturizer, but found it too heavy for my skin--but for drier skin it might work better.

Glad you're back! I apply my La Roche Posay Active C Yeux every morning under my sunscreen. I found out about it by researching the MUA skincare board. It is fabulous!
I tried both the LRP regular facial serum and the eye serum and found that the facial one had too much fragrance in it....so I pretended I was Paula Begoun and compared the ingredients between the two and decided that it was perfectly acceptable to use the eye serum all over my face. It works wonderfully. A nice light moisturizer packed with stable L-Ascorbic acid. HTH!

I've recently started using Philosophy's Hope and a Prayer, which is a Vitamin C powder that you mix with your moisturizer. I didn't really look into what other vitamin C products were out there because I like Philosophy products in general, but I may have to try the serum when I am finished with this bottle. It seems easier than mixing the powder in with my moisturizer every day.

Oh my darling Real Girl, how I have missed you so! Glad to have you back in Blogland!!!
I too am a Body Shop Vitamin C freak - the Night Repair is heaven-sent! I too find the moisturizer too heavy so use their Vitamin E one because it's oil-free and E works with C quite nicely.

Welcome back, my dear!
I have been using the Obaji serum too, and it's really great. I think my skin is clearer and I love how the thin serum spreads evenly across the skin. 7 drops really covers face and neck. Amazing. Plus, I feel pretty scentific and all using the cool glass dropper.

I love Beauti Control skin care products. I especially like their Cell Block C AM & PM. The AM is lighter on my skin and has SPF20 to protect me from the suns rays. The PM is just a great moisturizer

I absolutely LOVE Vitamin C!!! This is my addiction! I love the Obagi and the skinceuticals. Vit creams I am not a fan of. I believe that you get more benefits from using serums. Anyway this is my 2 cents. I want everybody to know how important vit c is and yes it can be irritating if you have sensitive skin but always start with a 5% or 10% concentration and gradualy move up to 20%.
Thanks!

I have been using Obagi since the ... uuuhh should I say this ... 90's.
So I may be the old lady on the block .. I'm over it. I love Obagi C.. its hard to go wrong w/any of this brilliant mans stuff. I started w/ the retin-a program, still use it for tune ups but use the c-line in between.I don't have sensitivity issues so I use the 15%. also the c-guard sunscreen.Obagi skincare is all I use
