As for this demo in support of Chavez you can almost certainly divide the numbers attending by two, and if you take away the servicemen, civil servants, police and Party hacks who were ordered to attend - or else! - that probably leaves you with a couple of dozen visiting American liberals and a score of street vendors trying to earn a buck.

Honestly, 'RinR', haven't you 'sussed' this Chavez out yet?

I certainly don't think Chavez is perfect, but he's certainly better than an openly pro-capitalist leader. The people of Venezuela are better off with him in power than an American-controlled puppet.
