Wouldn't it be something if the environmentalists were the vanguard of more freedom in China? It doesn't seem to be working here---
I think it's entirely possible that the environmental movement could form the basis for a more democratic China. I certainly hope so!
The only thing these environmentalists would accomplish is to destroy (or delay) the progress of China's economic reform, and nothing else.
Btw, there are already freedoms in China, of course you wouldn't know it, because most of you have never even been to China, and the only thing that you know about China is from the American news media -- anti-China propaganda mostly.

First, you might want to rethink what the hell are you talking about.
FYI, the environmentalists and the "democracy activists" have different agendas!!! Of course, if they are both anti-China or anti-Chinese, then they do have the same goal, but then they can not refer themselves as environmentalist or "democracy activist", they should just called themselves Chinese haters!
