That's great news about the "shelter in place" code and all thes eother measures. It's refreshing to hear about people taking practical measures that actually work, and not fatalistic weepy hand-wringing about inescable natural disasters - or as you say, cold-hearted Libertarian BS.

Nail on the head. Private individuals and companies are not inherently more wise and better prepared than government. It's the same old story--pool resources and ideas.
