what about just cleaning it and everything around w/ rubbing alcohol?
(i know you're not serious, but i'm just anal enough to clean my keyboard, phone, mouse etc. at work once a week that way.)

Then again, it seems a lot of people I know have been sick all winter this year. Even really clean people! :=D I think this is not a good year for being healthy. I've managed not to catch anything except the mysterious illness that hit mid-December which affected everyone's right ear. ????
I don't clean my keyboard weekly, but I do clean it every month or so. It's not that hard --- it's more time consuming than anything.
