Thank you! I still don't see how that lady at the store thought it was a table. Anyway, it has a loving home here.


How on EARTH could that be a table???

Unless, of course, this woman has my mother's "tic" of using the wrong word in very obvious situations. Like Oreos for Cheerios.

Okay...late on the comment, so you'll probably never see it, but my parents had that exact same bookshelf when I was growing up.

The top shelf is for World Book Encyclopedias, the big bottom part for the children's version, and the sides and bottom are for the various atlases and such they sold with the set. My parents still have that whole set, still on that bookshelf.

So now you have the official, for real, definite answer
