I wish I had homeschooled my kids but when they were in elementary school hardly anybody was homeschooling. I guess this dates me but it seems like people were just starting to talk about it.

I think there will be a lot more secular homeschooling if they start teaching "intelligent design" in public schools.

I wish I'd known about homeschooling when I was still in school! I would've worn my parents down to try it. But back then I'd never heard of it.

The intelligent design thing boggles my mind. Although I distinctly remember my AP Biology teacher telling us that evolution could be seen as very similar to Genesis if you didn't take 'days' literally. Like she was trying to fend off complaints and not rock anyone's worldview. And this was almost 20 years ago
