Now that man is a Christian. Why isn't this message getting through?
I have thought for a while now that there are, at a minimum, two approaches to following any religion: one, seeing it as a guide for how one should conduct oneself, which is the approach Danforth is outlining, or two, seeing religion as a guide for how others should conduct themselves, which is, IMO, how these anti-gay people are doing it.
That's an oversimplification, but it's the best I can come up with.
