good for you, I miss having that option. I hope that one day there will be a train I can hop on to get into town from the country, like in european countries, but I fear I will be retired by then and have outgrown the need to come into town for anything. Now I am hopelessly dependent on a car, at least its a honda. |

Where I live they have a pretty good mass transit system, bus and train, so there's really no excuse not to take it. Yes, the car saves time, but as you rightly pointed out, the bus gives you time to relax (I get road rage a little too easily, so it's good someone else is driving) and people watch. And house watch (I like to look in people's windows and see what's going on)! |

Wow! That's great. I really miss being a half of a mile from a subway station. I also hate living where I have to drive to get all of my errands dones. Well, I guess I could take the bus (I've seen it in my neighborhood) but I'm not even going to consider that option until it cools down a little bit. |

Yeah, waiting for the bus in SA in the summertime will fry you in no time. But around Halloween or so, when things cool off, it could be a fun adventure. |
