My younger son is a "yeah" kind of guy, too. He gets it from my husband. Even now, at 11, he's more likely to say "okay" when I give him a chore. Our older son will argue and whine and stomp around and generally spend more time complaining than it would have taken to do the chore.
Interesting... I've been wondering if mine will outgrow their different approaches and now I'm guessing not, which is at least 50% good news.
