Did you notice that when they said the Pledge of Allegiance they didn't say "under God"? Clearly the idea of a non-despotic government being good is perpetrated by secular humanists. All true Christian Americans will be happy to have a controlled press, a rubber-stamp legislature, an executive with the power to order searches and confinement without judicial oversight, and a blanket condemnation that certain people are "freedom haters" so we don't have to think about why we go to war. |

very timely, especially the "where are we headed" part. |

Like Edna, the difference in the Pledge of Allegiance was striking to me (born in 1961, after "under God" was added). |

I'm old enough (b. 1945) to have a sense of nostalgia about the film; though I can't say I remember this one, I remember that announcer! |

Damn. That's something. What really struck me was that in 1946, stuffy institutions like Britannica were able to openly invoke income disparity without being accused of inciting "class warfare." |

thank's for this clip, and you have really nice blog,i love it |

Well, why isn't this at least being shown on university campuses? |
|
Every bit of this was prescient--and chilling. Thanks, ma. |

My favorite part is the really old lady in school to become a teacher. We all know that bitter old women are always in education programs at the university as students... |

Thanks for posting this!! This is great! |
