Oh, Oh! I've got a brag! Yes, my almost 15 year old son is turning into a hell on wheels feminist! Don't you love it!? I love it and I love you for reminding me that it is braggarts Friday so I will post the details on my own neglected blog. Nice grasshopper sex shot, by the way. Under the back right legs there is that a...? Never mind. I don't need to know! |

I want to brag, too! My 17 year old daughter has struggled with ADD and school since she was in kindergarten and we finally got her into a good school last year...just in time to find out that she had a congenital lung condition that required the removal of half of a lung. She spent three weeks in the hospital and the rest of the year being home schooled BUT still managed to end up with two A's, two B's and one C and will graduate on time next year! After which, she has informed me, she is going to join a band and move to Canada. Thanks for the opportunity to brag!! |

Oh man, I'm going to be singing the "Water Gun Blues" all day now - great stuff! |

Kiki, BRAG ON. |

My 11 year old is doing really well at fencing. She's a different child on the fencing floor -- assured, vigorous, graceful, enthusiastic. Her instructor mentioned how well she was doing to me tonight. |

I love hearing about all the cool things people's kids are doing. Kiki and Stefaneer, it must be so cool to watch your kids coming into their own with their pursuits. And if you all haven't followed Beth's homepage link in her comment, it's worth a read. |

Surely was, R Mama; that's a youngun to brag about! |

Vicarious brag from a pseudo-Auntie: my good friends adopted a 6 month old baby recently, and he is amazing. The peanut is only 14 pounds but is crawling, eating baby food, and smiles constantly. What a blessing! |

I've been poking the uterus in which my 20-week-old fetus dwells, every night when I get into bed, to make her/him move so that I can feel it. On Friday night, he or she gave me three swift kicks (the first!!!) to let me know to Cut.That.Out!!!! Yay for the assertive fetus! |
