I was never asked to leave while I was breastfeeding, but it has happened to friends of mine. I guess they don't have the same "go ahead make my day, fuck with me" look that I have.

I hear you, gaia. I've been told that I'm mean-looking and I relied on it while I was nursing in public.

But I think I was lucky, too. Some people really are just looking for a fight, and a woman -- especially a woman with a small child -- is a categorically easy target.

I love finding a good Austin blog.

I happen to think that breast feeding is one of the sweetest times between a mother and child. Don't understand why it might offend someone.
