Karen, you could be on to something. I love all the critters, but I don't have time to invest in my relationships with them as deeply as I might have before I had kids. That's part of the reason I have them all paired up like Noah's ark -- so they've got peeps of their own. |

We once had a hen with a similar bald patch on top of her head, complete with mangled comb. She was something of the barnyard hussy, the rooster would grab on to those feathers up there for that "horsey ride". You've got quite a pack there! I'm down to 2 dogs and a large rabbit. And the children, of course. |
