I dare to hope Gonzales will "bail" this weekend, or anytime soon. But, with the absolute arrogance of this administration it's just not an easy call.
I feel your apathy and would add my own political fatigue. All kinda things happenin' now but somehow I can't get worked up about them. Spring fever, maybe? I hope so--we may not have too many left to enjoy.
It's long been a personal dream of mine to see the Scott company (the makers of Miracle Gro and all those weed-and-feed products poisoning our land and water continent-wide all in pursuit of the flawlessly green lawn grail) go belly-up in my lifetime. It would also be okay with me if it would just change its entire model to an organic, nonpersistent one, but I have little faith that this will ever happen.
I get those business cards stuffed into my front door all the time by lawn and chemical companies, since I have two or three people on my dead end street, oh excuse me, i am not being truly southern politically correct here, cul-de-sac (doesnt that mean cut-off-the-scrotum in french?) Any way i digress, one day last week I was outside on my less than perfect lawn (ok, I have enough henbit to keep it on the face of thge earth for a millennium, and this Tru Green guy rolls up as he is turning around in the cut-off-the-scrotum, and he stops. When he spreads his arm in an arc and says that he could help me turn this into a sea of solid green, i inform him that I like my fire ants, they keep the neighbor kids from getting too possessive about my lawn, AND I like the blueish reddish color of henbit in the spring. I also add that I work for the EPA, and while we have covert saboteurs in our agency that approves his poison, I am not YET required to use them.

The rabbit is... Bush. Bush is... rappin'. Bush is... forgettin'. Bush is... takin' the 5th. Bush is... incrementally destroying the integrity of the papasan chair. The papasan chair is... the Constitution.
