Not a crackpot notion at all. Americans have the lowest amount of vacation time of any civilized country and on average they don't even take all their entitlement. You people do need another week off (or so).
Oh, hell, yeah! A national holiday I can get behind! I soooo need a week off to take care of shit right now. I'm so frozen at how to begin attacking the to do list right now that I'm staying up late eating a cupcake and reading Redneck Mother instead of getting things done.
