Pet photos on your blog are unprofessional? Whoa...I'm in big trouble, you betcha. Fabulous buns you got there. If you have time, scroll through my blog for some very unprofessional pet pictures. There's a rather good one of one of the buns with the dog.
We have buns, we have a dog (for the buns), we have a bird. We don't have chickens, but we are actually considering it...

Yeah, whatever. The minute someone starts paying me for my professional blog, fine, I'll stop with pet pics. Until then ...

Yeah, I think the ability to post pet pics and other random tidbits is what makes the interwebs so much more appealing than mass-market media.
And redblur, I highly recommend chickens. Apart from the eggs and the bird-watching, they eat snakes and fire ants. And did I mention that they eat fire ants?

Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!

Chickens eat fire ants?
Damn!! I'll never have to buy feed!!

Blogs don't conform to traditional norms?
Shocking, eh? I roll my eyes at those scoldy articles urging people to ape the MSM. Where's the fun in that?
Sir Robin, I highly recommend chickens for fire-ant control. They do a number on small snakes, too.
We do have to give them feed, of course, but our fire ant problem has just about solved itself since we brought in the birds. There were even some fool ants that built a mound inside the chicken pen. Easy pickings.
