Durable is important. Such a flashlight has got to be better than those solar yard lights that last only a few months.
We have a flashlights with a wind-up crank to generate power, but it's not very good.
Something similar, the hand cranked radio. There is even a program to donate one free to children in Africa when you buy one for yourself. (hat tip)
