I remember the wildflowers all over Texas, and I remember being told that it was because of Ladybird Johnson.

I wish you could come to Wisconsin, KCB, and tell me the names of some of the wildflowers here. I know a few--chicory, Queen Anne's Lace, Creeping Jenny, Creeping Charlie, but others are a mystery.
