So did you just leave it out, or are you really able to be in the same city as your parents, stay in a hotel, and not have to endure some long argument about how you aren't staying with them and why don't you want to spend every possible minute with them, etc? I'm actually hoping that this is possible and that I am right that my mom is totally unreasonable.
