If you look, EVERY STINKIN' TEXAS REPUBLICAN voted against this bill. Talk about your blind loyalty. Of course, I happen to live in the richest county in the state -- one where the majority who live here believe that "there are no poor people in the county who need indigent health care." To qualify for any health care assistance, you have to have an income of less than $4000/year. Oh, yes, because someone who makes $4500/year can obviously afford health insurance!!!

The hypocrisy from the self-professed "Christian" Republican majority in my area makes me sick.

Wow. Thank you for putting this info out there. I'm not in TX, but if someone has been elected to office -- DO YOUR DAMN JOB and at least READ what you're voting against! Voting that way on ignorance is even worse than voting that way on principle.
