I'm going to take this as a hopeful sign since my younger son, LB, is incredibly picky, and it drives me nuts. I keep hoping to crack open his food curiosity, but it hasn't happened yet. |

Ethiopian food!! Yum. I haven't had breakfast yet and now my stomach is begging. |

All of this is great . . . except for the diss on Waffle House. CLEARLY you have not had the benchmark Waffle House experiences that you should have. |

It's not a food, but I can't watch Seinfeld without being taken back to the hazy early days of motherhood. My mom brought home Season 5 on DVD that first week home from the hospital and we watched all of the episodes during nursing sessions at all hours for the next couple of weeks. The Puffy shirt and the Indian statue will be forever linked in my mind with the strong emotions and memories about my newborn son. |

Hi, I just found your blog and i love it. My oldest is always trying to experiment in the kitchen. His favorite channel is the Food Network. We also have a couple of Oriental markets that we do our shopping at. My kids just love to go in them. They are always finding new things to try. One of our favorites is homemade egg rolls and sushi. |

Dude, I'm totally going to Denny's now, gotta get me some of that culinary curiosity substance! |
|
Hey, it is a new ad-campaign: "Breakfast at Denny's - so you know to go try new things!" |

My boys (ages 7 and 8.5) have been talking lately about how one needs more variety in the daily diet. When I asked them where they got this important tidbit of information (it couldn't be me, because I've been saying it for 7 and 8.5 years and they haven't been listening...), the younger one confided that it came, like all good and true things, from the Boy Scout Handbook. Who'd have thunk. |

This is so great! I boycott Denny's personally, because of racial incidents (it's on the Googles, I'm sure) but that's really not a sacrifice, seeing as how the food is nothing to write home about. I'm thrilled to see that their cuisine is turning young future diners away. Woot-woot! Your kids have great taste. |
