I can sympathize, having gotten 6? 8? inches of rain in about 2 days back in June. Glub glub.

Raining here, but not to that extreme. Hope you can get dried out soon.

I don't have numbers, but we live in Tarrant County and both Tarrant and Dallas Counties have had flash flood watches for the past three DAYS, as it's been raining that BIG Texas rain for the past three days after playing around with drizzles for a day and a half or so before.

We're a little uphill and our neighborhood is newer with giant "suck-small-children-sized" sewer openings, so while the backyard may be swampy for a day or two we'll not see any flooding. The great thing will be the refilling of the reservoirs.

Nasty. Glad you are all okay, feathered, furred, or whatever.

And it is STILL raining this morning! I can't believe it. It really is feast or famine around here.

HOLY SMOKES!

Oh MY!! You really DO do things bigger in Texas, doncha?!

Yay! Uh, yay? Rain! Glad to hear you have finally gotten some, even if now you and your family are loading up the animals two by two.

That restaurant sign is the greatest thing I ever saw!
